Chappell shoots 61 for Nationwide lead

07/08/2010 - Clarksburg, ON (Sportsbook Betting Lines) - Kevin Chappell fired an 11-under 61 on Thursday to take the first-round lead at the Ford Wayne Gretzky Classic.

Chappell's 61 matched the course record at Raven Golf Club and earned him a two-shot lead over James Hahn and Zack Miller.

Hahn carded a nine-under 63 on the Raven course, while Miller had a nine-under 62 at Georgian Bay Club.

Both courses are being used for the 36-hole pro-am, while the Georgian Bay Club will be used for the final two rounds.

Justin Hicks and Adam Hadwin both shot eight-under 64s on the Raven course to share fourth place.

Despite the Pittsburgh Steelers winning Super Bowl 43, the New England Patriots are 8/1 favorites to win Super Bowl 44.
